Who this policy covers
This policy explains what Forest Lake Concrete collects when you visit our website, call us or ask for an estimate, and what we do with it. We're a concrete contractor based in Forest Lake, MN, and this site exists so homeowners and property owners can learn about our work and get in touch.
It applies to this website, starting at our home page, and to the information you give us while we talk through your job. It doesn't cover other websites we link to, because they have their own policies.
What information we collect
When you fill out our contact form, we collect what you type in. That's usually your name, phone number, email, the address of the job and a description of the work, such as a new driveway, a cracked patio or a garage floor.
When you call or email us, we keep the details you share so we can set up an estimate and follow up with you.
When you browse the site, some information is collected automatically, as it is on most websites. This can include your general location by city, the type of device and browser you use, the pages you look at and how you reached the site. This information doesn't tell us your name.
Cookies and analytics
Cookies are small files your browser stores so a website can remember things between visits. We use them, along with analytics tools, to see which pages people read and where the site could be clearer. We look at this information in totals, not to follow one person around.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, though some features may not remember your choices.
How we use your information
We use what you send us to answer your questions, schedule an estimate, plan and do the work, send invoices and keep records of the job. If you've had work done, we may contact you about that job later, for example to answer a question about the slab or a follow-up visit.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't rent it or trade it to marketers.
We share it only when the job requires it. Examples include the outside service that runs our contact form, the companies that host this website and provide analytics, and a supplier or permit office when your project needs it. We also share information if the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
We keep estimate requests and job records for as long as we need them to serve you, stand behind our work and meet tax and business record-keeping rules. When we no longer need information, we delete it or remove the details that identify you.
Analytics information is kept in summary form by the analytics provider under its own retention settings.
How we protect your information
We limit access to your information to the people who need it to handle your job, and we use services that take reasonable steps to keep data secure. No website or email system is completely secure, so please don't send payment card numbers or other sensitive financial details through the contact form.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. We'll do that unless we have to keep certain records, such as invoices, for legal or tax reasons. Depending on where you live, state law may give you more rights, and we'll honor the ones that apply.
You can also ask us to stop contacting you at any time, and we will.
Children's privacy
This website is meant for adults who are planning work on a home or property. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13, and if we learn we have, we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our website or the way we work changes. The current version is always the one posted on this page, so check back if you have questions.
How to raise a privacy question or concern
If you have a question about your information or want to make a request, call us at (612) 448-0764 or use the form on our contact page. Tell us what you need, and we'll get back to you.
You can learn more about who we are and how we work on our about page.
